Here's what's here:
Aliases2cdbm is a utility for converting mail aliases from the format used in /etc/aliases into input suitable for cdbmake.
Note that i made aliases2cdbm specifically for use with the exim MTA (mail transport agent) by Philip Hazel. In particular, aliases2cdbm parses the aliasfile format described in exim's specification document, with a few additions and clarifications gained from inspecting the source code. Aliases2cdbm might parse alias files that work with other MTAs (i'm interested in knowing whether it does). Your mileage may vary.
The current version is 1.0, dated 2000-Jan-09. Not much has changed at all since version 1.0beta. In the absence of damage reports, i bumped the version from to 1.0 proper.
