A Womb with a View

Yes, as amazing and unbelievable as it may seem (and believe me, it's right up there with the sight of the Himalaya at sunrise, the Big Bang, and space travel), Felicia and Jim are having a baby!!!!! We're excited and proud and still enjoying the new experience.

Thanks to the miracle of ultrasonography, here are the first photos of our little Wild Turkey!

[800x600, grayscale, ~40k ea.]
[First cranial-to-rump measurement] The first cranial-to-rump measurement; things are a little curled up here....
[Curled up snug in the womb] Curled up and relaxing in the womb.
[View of long leg] Check out the long leg. This one'll be a kicker!
[View of head and left arm] A view of the head and left arm.
[Second cranial-to-rump measurement] The second cranial-to-rump measurement ... things have stretched out more, so the measurement is more accurate....
[Third cranial-to-rump measurement, with view of brain and spine] Here we have a good cranial-to-rump, which says our little Wild Turkey is at about 14 weeks, and nearly 8 centimeters long. Good view of the spinal column.
[Profile with good view of brain] A good profile view. "There's a brain growing in my stomach!"
