Portland, Oregon

Portland is a diverse, vibrant, eclectic city; apparently, it has one of the highest parks-per-capita ratios in the United States. From several parks, there are exquisite views of the neighboring snow peaks.

[Swan pond with gull] One house we saw had this fixture in the back yard; note the seagull.
[Felicia and Eileen at dinner] We celebrated Felicia's birthday with her brother Greg and her friend (and current Portlander) Eileen. This is after a gin-and-tonic or two...
[Felicia and Jim, with Greg's arm] My lovely partner and i at her birthday dinner. The disembodied arm belongs to Greg, who is ensuring that my artfully-arranged dinner shows up in the photo.
[Artfully poured mocha latte with milk-froth fern] How could i drink this beautiful mocha latte? It's got a fern made out of milk-froth! I drank it anyway (after taking this photo)---i can always get another one at Jim and Patty's Coffee on NE Fremont St.
[Billboard: Two men wrapped in an American flag, with the caption 'COME TOGETHER. GAY.COM'] Portland is a diverse, vibrant, eclectic city.
